Why Do You Think President Bush Is So Unpopular?

A new survey conducted by CNN / Opinion Research Corporation poll shows that 76% of those polled disapprove of the way President Bush is handling his job.

Before Bush, the holder of the record of disapproval of President was Harry Truman, with a 67 percent disapproval rating in January 1952, his final year of his mandate.

As Obama visits to the White House to begin the transition from the Bush administration to a hotel Obama, 57 percent of respondents believe that the transfer of power to be relatively easy and free of tension, with 39 percent saying that the transition will be difficult.

Do you think it ’s because of Iraq? Every poll suggests that Americans have heard enough talk about Iraq, but Americans usually vote to send more U.S. troops in Iraq. I suppose that’s because President Bush said that terrorists come to the United States if the Americans are not the in Iraq.

Do you think he’s unpopular because of Iraq, or is it because of something else? Hurricane Katrina was a freak phenomenon that nobody expected. Nobody expected that the dikes to burst.  However, relief for those victims in New Orleans was exceptionally slow in coming.

One Response to “Why Do You Think President Bush Is So Unpopular?”

    1. Without a doubt, it is because “actions speak louder than words…” and he’s proven himself to be less than the president that was promised ~
      · No Bin Laden
      · No end-in-sight for 2 wars
      · No sense of urgency or real compassion for the victims of Katrina
      · No more profits or stability with Wall Street investors ~ etc., etc…
Perhaps the only notable promise Bush ever kept was from his 2000 campaign, when he first pledged to be “a uniter, not a divider…” although he probably did not anticipate the entire world almost, nearly every nation UNITED AGAINST him..!;’p

Some would say THAT is real karma ~
