Was Bush Incompetent?

frankls Historians say that George W. Bush will go down in history as being one of the most incompetent presidents of our time.
Neither Bush nor any of his pals are competent.. they just had some ideas that they were the only ones who could save the world and went ahead with it no matter what. Conveniently the bombing of the trade centre came up… still makes one wonder if they were connected.. and that gave them full rein to implement their war on terror.. or at least that is what they called it.
So what’s you’re view?

There is no doubt in my mind that GW Bush always thought he was doing the right thing. I don’t see him as a bad man. He just wasn’t the right person for the job of President. I agree with the historians in that history will term his Presidency as incompetent. I hope history doesn’t give him a pass by saying his administration had the bad luck to be faced with 9/11, Katrina, Iraq and the economic disaster of 2008. Catastrophic events make a good leader better and an incompetent on look even more incompetent. FDR was faced with overwhelming challenges and he rose to the occaision and is viewed as one of the best Presidents in history. I don’t think GW’s incompetence should be dismissed as being “bad luck”. He did alot to deserve to keep his label of incompetence. I’d hate to think that my grandchildren or great-grand children would be allowed to believe his administration was plagued by bad luck. His incompetence and arrogance are his legacy as President. I have visited some of the Presidential Libraries. I wonder if he will also have the arrogance to build this kind of tribute to himself and his administration. If he does… will there be any mention of Election 2000 and the debackle with the voting in Florida? Will Jeb’s part in that debacle be mentioned? I wonder…
I think everything that needs to be said in defense of President Bush is stated in this beautiful song ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLOn6UEAkSo
