frankls So as the dust starts to settle, and a new day dawns, reality sets in. Suffice it to say
Barack Obama has a lot on his plate. BUT a change is a coming…
The words are easier said than done, and expectations are high not only in
the US, but around the world…maybe too high huh?
So as the dust starts to settle even more and emotions dissipate, there a
long road ahead.
So do you think “Obamamania” can live up to the hype?

It matters how America looks at the world for it affects the entire planet as the Bush administration has so eloquently shown for the past eight years. It equally matters how the world look at America, and thanks to Mr Obama, the view forward to the next four years is already very becoming by all accounts. Hopes may be hype. But that’s our nature regardless of colours, and it is our best natures anytime that need to be mobilized. So don’t down play on hope, but don’t trumpet it either as in the case of the liberation of Iraq by a triumphalist President and a nationalistic press. The media – especially those globe-spanning 24 hours news channels – should see they have a crucial moral duty to help ordinary humanity in maintaining a happy medium in humanity’s collective psyche instead of exploiting its hopes and fears.
We will see in the up coming months what sort of change Obama is going to bring to the forefront. In the mean time as he gather’s his team to take the US into a new era everyone will watch in anticipation, and no doubt each new member will be heavily scrutenized by both the media and American people. Just remember “change” is a good thing.
