Googles been back again.

Unfortunately the last update I did was to my wordpress permalinks changing the format from /%postname%/ to /%category%/postname%/ which has caused a number of problems with my webpages listed in google.

As it turns out my webpage went from having 162 pages to 545 pages indexed in Google within the past 2 weeks. which on analysis looks like Google has re-indexed my pages thinking I have new content, but in fact it doesn’t.

Rankings should hopefully, go back up as the pages are recognized again and backlinks from authority sites take hold.

Have You Looked Through Ezinearticles Lately?

Took a look through Ezinearticles today to do some research on a project and I gotta to tell ya, there is some shit in there. There are miss spellings, half finished sentences and lord knows what else. Could believe my eyes. Some of the content didn’t read quite right either, which makes me think that they could possibly be machine generated.

Either their approval process is slipping or they are just accepting anything.

Anyways take a look yourself and see if you know what I am talked about.

Googles back !

Okay, so I think that I have trained Google to keeping coming back to my blog on a consistent basis. Now all I have to do, is keep blogging everyday until I die ;-)

Oh and the other thing I changed recently is my permalinks settings. For some reason the permalinks were set to wordpresses defaults, which really sucks if you’re trying to rank in Google for specific keywords.

Anyway over the next couple of days I am going to be tried to rank for some low competition keywords, with some medium to high search volume.

Following this experiment I will post how I did it.

Feedagg is back in business

Okay, so I’m not sure if anyone else could access feedagg today or not, but for me, each time I tried it timed out. Anyways, it seems as though things are back to normal.

Looks Like feedagg.com is down!

Tried going into feedagg.com today, but alas it timed out. Not sure how long it is going to be down, but recently they had a database problem that literally took 3 days to get everything back. Even then I’m not sure the restore was done right.

Anyway hope they aren’t away for too long.

What Is The Best Way To Find Your Competition?

Easy, look it up in Google.

Use Googles adwords external keyword tool to find out your competition.

I have talked about the Google keyword tool before and to date it still seems to be the number one tool that most top affiliates use to date to find competition and keywords associated to what they want to rank for.

You can find it at this web address.

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Basically you type in your main keyword term and Google will spit out whatever keyword terms people are search for. You then find the keywords that have a green bar across them because those are the keywords that your competitors are bidding on.

You can then either build an adwords campaign and compete that way for find some keywords that you can rank for in the organic search results.

Stop Updating Your Blog & Watch It Disappear In Google

So if content is king in Google then lack of content or not updating your blog is definitely going to drop your website into the dark depths of oblivion.

Google is a hungry beast that devours new content every millisecond of the day and has an insatiable appetite for new and unique content. Its algorithms then digests each snippet of text and stores it in its enormous belly that then goes out to feed the hungry surfers.

If you’re not providing Google with food regularly then it eventually gives up and discards you until you are ready to contribute again. But one contribution is not enough if you have been away for a while. You need to continually contribute until Google sees you again.

How do you know if Google has wokening up to your contributions. Well type in site:yourdomain.com and at the top of Googles search results you will find your most recent post. Sometimes if Google is getting new content all the time for you, you will see your most recent post in a matter of minutes or hours.

Legitimate Work From Home Businesses

The easiest legitimate work from home businesses is becoming and affiliate and selling other peoples products. This is one of the easiest and fastest ways you can start making money online, because you don’t need to make your own products and there is no inventory where you have to invest capital.

Affiliate marketing can be started without money.

All you have to do is to be the “middle man” so to speak. Your task is to find hungry markets and then put a product in front of them and see if you can convert it into a sale.

In online marketing it really comes down to two things.

(1) Finding the right buying keyword.

(2) Finding the right product that will convert with that keyword.

Sometimes you can find the right keyword, but then the product you’re promoting fails to convert. The answer here is to rotate products / offers and find out which one converts and then just promote the winners.

This brief business model above is how I make a full-time living online and how many other affiliates make money online.

Working From Home Opportunities

One of the biggest problems online is finding the right opportunity that will make you money.

Well one of the biggest things people get stuck with is information overload. So much so that they don’t end up trying anything at all, thinking to themselves internet marketing is really just a pipe dream and that it won’t work anyway.

People get stuck with, why try it, it won’t work anyway. Or they say oh SEO I’ve tried ranking for keywords in the past and although I rank for the keyword, it doesn’t convert or they say things like I am trying to rank for a keyword, but no matter how many links I throw at it I still can’t rank for it…what am I doing wrong?

Sound familiar?

Well I have new for you. Stick at it until you are successful. If something isn’t working, then stick at it until it does.

Here’s a Work At Home Opportunity that shows promise.
