Ok, so I was fortunate enough to get a copy of John Kehoe's - The Complete Mind Power Home Study Program or what I have termed (TCMPHSP) for short. I know this doesn't mean much to look at it, but anyway is is a lot easier than having to write it out.
Anyway, what I have come to understand about it is that it is based on his teachings in his book Mind Powers in the 21st Century.
I started listening to the cd's yesterday and thought that as a result I could actually start documenting my findings in my blog. If you find the topic interesting then great, otherwise go read something else. I am not going to proof read any of my posts as these posts are really just meant for me, and I see it as a database or a journal diary that might come in use one day.
In some posts I might only post a few words.
So far I have written pages and pages of notes in my physical journal, now I will document everything here.
I have learned that repetition is prudent in John's mind power techniques.
Ok, so one of the things I have to do each day for 7 days is contemplate 6 universal laws. I'll list them below.
1. Thoughts are real focus.
2. The mind is a sending and receiving station of thought.
3. The Law of attraction - Thoughts that are emotionalized are magnetized and attract similar and like thoughts.
4. Law of control - We are forever experiencing thoughts, but we have the power and ability to either entertain them or dismiss them.
5. Law of insertion - We have the power to insert any thought of any type into our mind.
6. Law of connection - The Inner and outer worlds are connected.
Now you might be asking what each law means.
Well, that's where this exercise comes into play. You are to contemplate them. Try and figure out what they might mean to you.
Contemplation is a discipline that must be developed.
Tomorrow I will write my contemplation thoughts on what I think the 6 laws mean to me.
