Clare Werbeloff, the girl in the interview apparently made this story up, after she was interviewed by Aussie police following the Sydney shooting. It has been reported that although she made the story up, the Australian public love her. Half of them think that it was in ill taste that she made the story up because it was disrespectful of the lives lost that night, but the other half love her. She has also been coined “The Bogan Chick”.

If you watch the interview, the story almost sounded as if she telling one of those annoying racist jokes.

Apparently, she has been offer $10,000 for an interview and has also been approach by 85 others for an interview. Not sure what will become of the “Chk Chk Boom” girl, maybe another one of those fly by nighters. Another one wanting a piece of the lime light I guess. She apparently saw the television cameras and ran over to them and then gave her story.

People are capitalizing on her fame already. Selling T-shirts and youtube is already littered with video’s.

As it turns out she has apologized for what was said in the interview and that she meant no harm by it, and then added that she wasn’t camera shy, leaving open a world of media possibilities.

Now did anyone question the shitty journalism that took place that night? Were they too quick in getting the story out to the public that they didn’t even corroborate the story. Ummmh - yes. Where’s their credibility gone?

Oh come on - you have to admit that it took a lot of guts for someone to appear on national television in front of millions of viewers in nothing but their bikini. That took guts man!

Who cares if it was to further her career in front of the cameras, you have to have some sort of angle -don’t you? She may have fell flat on her face, but everyone knows her, even if they know her as ‘Bikini Girl’, they still know her.

You have to give the girl props for getting as much time as she did on some of the most expensive prime television on the planet. Advertising companies would pay hundreds and thousands of dollars for the equalivalent. All she had to do was to wear a Bikini and flaunt it! Beat you $10 dollars there will be a lot more ‘Bikini Girl’ wanna be’s next season trying it on.

A good marketing idea or angle, just like that of Bikini Girl, Norman Gentle and even Tatiana can literally be worth thousands.

Forty seven year old Susan Boyle has done it again! She has won the hearts of the British public, becoming the viewers choice in a telephone poll which means it shoots her through to the finale.

Her 2nd performance was a little shaky in the beginning, however she did well to overcome her nerves, sailing through with another heart felt inspirational song “Memory” from the hit musical “Cats”.

Not sure thought about the makeover, albeit a slight makeover. As she walked out onto the stage, she looked a little frumpy - cute, but frumpy. It could have been the hair, I don’t know, can’t put my finger on it. Half of the reason Susan Boyle was standing on the stage the second time was because of the way she looks. She has an unassuming “farmers wife” look, which added to the appeal of her character. Any, effort to try and change her look may damage the way viewers see her. Although, it wasn’t apparent in the voting. But then again nor was Michael Jackson slow transformation either and look what happened to him.

Anyway, I have finished ranting on that.

Anyone who can capture the hearts and votes of millions of people in 1 minute and 30 seconds is a star in my eyes. And just remember were have really only seen her sing two times now. With the constant bombardment of television, video and the Internet it is becoming more and more difficult to distinguish real life from that which has been manufactured.

By all accounts, it looked as though Adam Lambert was happy that Kris Allen had won. In fact it almost looked as if he was happier than Kris was. Kris was a little dumbfound, and after his obvious shell shock he graciously accepted the American verdict.

After the initial fall out of a shocking win, the internet seemed to be littered with Adam Lambert supporters,  myself included. However, what gets me is that if there were so many pro Adam Lambert supporters why oh why did the votes not reflect this. Conspiracy?

Lambert was the obvious winner to me, having said that, Kris is just a pawn in the whole thing. So all you Kris haters - STOP IT.

Apparently the winner of American Idol has to fulfill a 4 year contract and has to be marketed by American Idol, meaning that they lose autonomy, which in Kris’s case might be a good thing. Adam on the other hand is already a star and will thrive - I think - being left to his own devices. American Idol has been a great platform in exposing Adams talents on the world, and remember 2nd place winners do just as good if not better than the winner.

Not long after the finale, Queen had been in contact with Adam, and rumor has it that discussions are underway. I think that Adam should go solo - he doesn’t need Queen.

So I think that Adams reaction and happiness for Kris was real and that he got the better end of the deal!
