GetGoogleAdsFree | Can You Really Get Google Ads Free?

Is it really possible to get google ads for free? Looking at the sale page it really makes a compelling argument, but what’s the real deal? Can you really advertise on google free?

Well as it so happens the only free ppc ads you are going to see won’t come from this ebook.

Okay so here’s the basic concept behind getgoogleadsfree.

You basically setup a google adwords campaign like normal and then sell ad space on the website you are advertising which offsets the cost of your ppc advertising and also provides you a nice little profit.

This concept is nice in theory and some have made some decent money from it. How practical is it though?

I haven’t really tried it myself…but the concept does hold merit if you think about it.

Does Your CTR Suck? Here Are Some Practical Tips To Increase Your CTR

Okay so I was looking through some questions on Yahoo answers the other day regarding click through rates. It does seem that people are struggling to get a decent CTR.

I remember when I first started out in Adwords that getting a decent CTR was near impossible.

So knowing what I now know about Adwords what would be my approach to an Adwords campaign that has already been setup, but has a terrible CTR.

To answer this I am using a question from Yahoo answers that someone posted. Hopefully it may help you to clarify your approach to your own Adwords campaigns.

So here’s the questions:

Adwords CTR 0.02%??? HELP!!!?

Just opened a new AdWords campaign for my new charity website(helping Chinese kids in poverty). 1 day has passed and the site got 21671 impressions and 4 clicks (content network is on). That’s pathetic!!

The keywords I chose:

children in need
world poverty
Chinese poverty
sponsor chinese children
charity donation
donate
donation
sponsor asian children
child education
child health care
child sponsorship
children in poverty
helping children
sponsor a child
sponsor a chinese child
charity giving
child healthcare

What’s wrong with these keywords? Where can I get help? Some people say they can increase CTR to 5-7%?

So here’s what I would do:

1) First things first - turn off the content network.

Simply because the content network can skewer the CTR results so that you don’t get a proper understanding of how good your ad and keyword combination really is.

2) Next I would see what Google sees as the relevant keywords on my site. So I would run the destination url through Google’s keyword tool found here https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal make sure that you select “Website Content” and plug in your url. Google will spit out the keywords that they think are relevant.

NB: If the keywords you are using are not in the list provided by Google then you will need to tweak the content of the website so that it matches the keywords you are targeting.

Conversely, if the keywords provided by Google is a better match, then you might consider changing your keyword list.

3) You need to group your keywords into appropriate ad groups. For example, if I was going to expand on the keyword sponsor a child I would also pick the following keywords to be in my Ad group.

how to sponsor a child
sponser a child
sponsor a child
sponsor a child africa
sponsor a child in
sponsor a children
sponsor a needy child
sponsoring a child

I would then write my ad so that it contained the keyword in it . For example,
Sponsor A Child
Make a Difference in a Child’s
Life Sponsor a Child Today!
www.domainname.com

4) Get rid of the keywords donate and donation because they are too broad.

So what have we done here?

We have chosen keywords that match our website giving us total relevance, furthermore our ad has relevance to each ad group. That’s it.

Once you get a decent CTR (BTW you should if you follow these steps) then the next step is to check conversions.  Once you are happy with the ad groups that are converting for you then you can switch the content network back on to see if you can pull in even more profits.

Hope this article was useful to some of you.

Adwords Course | Beat Adwords With This Little Trick.

Okay, so let me say right of the bat that I am no teacher, so if you’re expecting a well formatted document with perfect spelling and grammar, you’re out of luck. Furthermore, I don’t see myself as a guru either, having said that I have learnt a few tricks in Google Adwords that has seen me make over $27,000 in one month. I know that $27K in one month is not much compared to what some of these Guru’s make, but as I said I am no guru I am an everyday bloke who found out a few things that work in Adwords, besides some people might be happy making that kind of money

I just wanted to say that, because if something doesn’t make sense to you, then it could possibly be that I haven’t explained it properly. My grammar might be a little off, but hopefully it doesn’t stop you from getting the general idea of this little gem.

Furthermore, it won’t cost you a single cent.

Rightyo, first let me start by saying that what I am about to show you today, took me a long time to understand. Not that it’s a hard concept to grasp, but more a concept that appears back-to-front. Meaning, it is almost opposite to what you might think would work.

However, if you understand this concept then you will definitely be a head of most people who are new to Google Adwords, primarily because most people do what I did when I first started and that was the exact opposite.

When I first discovered this method I dismissed it, because it didn’t make much sense to me. So hopefully I can make it make sense for you today. An important key here is don’t dismiss this concept. If it doesn’t make sense to you, then look deeper into it, because this is one of the keys to succeeding in Adwords.

Okay, so here it is.

Find a saturated marketplace. Meaning, find a marketplace where everyone is advertising in.

I know, I know, I told you it doesn’t make sense, usually the mindset is to find the exact opposite because you have less competition - right? Less competition means that the clicks aren’t as expensive so you don’t have to payout much in advertising - right? Less competition means you can get a better ad position for less cost - right?

Wrong.

You see ever since Googlecash everyone has been looking to find those $0.10c and $0.15c clicks. But Adwords advertising has come a long way since this inception. In a perfect world that would be great, but the reality of it all is that people fight for positions at $0.50c to $2.00 a click.

Now ask yourself why?

Why would someone pay $0.50 or $1.00 a click when they could pay $0.10c or $0.05c a click and make a profit?

Simply because with $2.00 a click they still make a profit on the products they are selling, otherwise, their advertising budget would run out quick smart - right? I mean how many people are willing to lose 100’s if not 1000’s of dollars a week with no return? ( Okay, so the only exceptions would be large businesses with a huge marketing budget, and who are more interested in branding than making sales.) Don’t get me wrong…I would rather pay $0.05 a click if it made me any money, but the reality is, the competition is there because those keywords are making people money - plain and simple.

Think about it for a minute.

If you knew a particular keyword would bring in sales for you often and make you a profit every time, wouldn’t you pay more for it, than say a keyword that costs you $0.05 a click and bought in no sales? Well, that’s exactly what is happening when you see a sea of Google ads for a given keyword. People are competing for the same advertising space because it makes them money.

So plainly put, whenever you see lots of Google ads on a page, it is highly likely that there are a number of people who are making money using that keyword sell a particular product.

But which ones are making the money? It’s a lot easier than you think.

I will discuss this in a future post.

How I made $27K In One Month Using Adwords.

Feel free to ask questions on this subject.

The Google Ad Preview Tool Works A Treat

The Google ad preview tool is a tool that is provided by Google that allows you to view your Google ads in various countries.

It is almost like Anywords Anywhere in that you can select which country you would like to view your Google ad in.

If you are not familiar with this concept then basically your Google ad gets shown in Google results for the countries you select when setting up your Google Adwords campaign. For example, if you are from the US then when you type in a keyword into Google from you PC, Google will display ads that have been selected to show for the US.

However, you don’t know what your ad will look like in the UK, moreover you don’t know what position your ad is in either. The Google ad preview tool allows you to see exactly what it will look like and what position it will be in, in the UK or any other country for that matter.

So why does this matter?

Well, it really depends on where your primary buyers are coming from. For example if you sell more of a certain product to people in the UK than in the US, then you can make tweaks to your campaign by using this tool so that you alter your ads position and or ad so that you maximizes every click through for the UK.

Best of all the tool is free.
